Zambia - Mount Sunzu

We're delighted to present our first ever Zambian! We've brought Mount Sunzu by our mates at Omwani, whom continue to do incredible work in East Africa, bringing never before seen regional speciality coffee to the UK market, we're big fans. 

Mount Sunzu is based in northern Zambia, Mbala, close to the border with Tanzania. All coffee grown here is designated as speciality and dedicated to bringing greater sustainability to speciality coffee growing through environmental responsibility and bringing new farming technology to their project, giving incredible opportunity for education in the local community. This includes funding a modern irrigation system (as seen photo!), solar energy farming and protecting / re-foresting 600 hectare of the nearby Miombo forest in the local area as part of an effort towards conservation and bio-diversity. 

Mount Sunzu made up about half of our recently incredibly popular 'Yuletide' and this is a perfect opportunity to try it on it's own. Notes of Molasses, Vanilla and Orange, this is proper good all-rounder for all brewing methods.
