A welcome return to Ibanda, working with Agri Evolve; whom we hold as one of our favourite speciality coffee import partners, due their local connection with us (more on this below).
Ibanda is co-ordinated by Salastial Masereka, a local farmer working in tandem with Agri Evolve and providing quality control at the Nyabirongo Washing Station, only accepting hand-picked ripe cherries, with cherries generally coming from the community in Ibanda village, with each farmer owning between 1-2 acres of coffee trees.
We get big notes of mango and blood orange, rounded off with sweet cinnamon - giving syrupy bold flavours, perfect for a refreshing zingy filter brew or a full-bodied espresso.
